Currently,Chinahas an important role in the production and trading within the flavor and fragrance industry.  As their reprocessing technology improved, the varieties, production capacity, and export quantity has increase yearly.  On December 8 - 9 of 2005, China Essential Oils, Aroma, and Spices Trade Association (CHINAEASA) has held their 2005 conference at Jinhua Spa & Resort in Bejing,China.  116 delegates from 57 factories and companies have attended.

The conference has invited several academicians, doctors, and professionals from various institutions, universities, and companies to address about several current topics, such as the follows.

      1) Current situation of Yunan essential oil and aroma chemical and its forecast.

      2) Current situation of Chinese Sulfide products and its development trend.

      3) Production technology for natural essential oil.

      4) Current situation of Chinese aroma chemical and its development trend.

      5) The relationship between the special characteristics of Essential Oil and its molecule structure.

      6) New aroma products and its usage in flavor and fragrance industry.

The conference has also organized two discussions groups for members to talk about the ¡°Chinese Menthol Crystal Plantation and Sales Forecast¡± and ¡°Management Methods and Profit Calculation for Essential Oil and Aroma Chemical Industry¡±.  Representatives from all fields have enthusiastically participated.  As Mr. Le De Ming, the CHINAEASA president, said, the conference has successfully reached its goal to provide a platform for colleagues among the industry to efficiently and beneficially exchange their opinions and ideas.
